I’m aware the song dropped DECADES ago, but the file is fresh on my table.
The riffs, the perfect tone… it ministers to me. God is love, and in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. The Word is full of grace and truth. He loves us because it is His nature. As we read the Word, his love manifests in us, we love Him more and more because we learn His nature more and more.

I can’t help but dwell in this pocket of worship as I listen.

Vocal perfection.

When you sing a new song to the Lord, He will perfect that which concerns you. His mercy endures forever. He will not forsake the works of His hands. Psalms 138:8

Many are reconciled to Christ in way of preaching, as for me, it’s music that gets me. It’s the sound of worship, the shout of praise. The first song that caught attention of my inner man was ‘Don’t Waste Your Life’ by Lecrae when I was a mere 14 years old, I understood the pull of God for the first time… but that’s a story for a different day.

“So sweeeeeeeeeet” Like the voice of an angel, it ministers to me. Love song.

His life, His love, His righteousness, His wisdom, His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, the gift of grace, our Salvation, Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. A Love Song.
