BREAKTHRU
You know initally I wished the track was longer than it was, but I've come to realise it's exactly the right length.
We all desire a break through in our time of need and at these times it is when we find oursleves wading through the deep, jumping from plan to plan. Equally putting our trust into man as well as ourselves, subconsciously pushing our Heavenly Father to the sidelines and in tandem our true destiny.
We are. invited into conversation with TKE3 as he says "Speaking to God about a breakthru, He told me make space I need to make room."
It's the voice of God which we long to hear and it fills me with so much joy hearing TKE3 explain his realtionship with God, how his instruction has brought him so much goodness, made him as white as wool and filled his cup. What a testimony!
Once again we are shown an exhibition of how effortless it is for TKE3 to glide on a beat with another skippy flow full of wholesome context, leading us into the overflow of the 2019 song 'Rain' by Sunday Service Choir which for me has become an iconic use of the sample, which is exemplary of how current gospel together with Hip Hop sampling techniques can be as uplifting for the soul as Michael W.Smith's 2002 album 'Worship', including songs like 'Above All’ and 'Draw Me Close'.
If LAW1 is the planting of the seed, BREAKTHRU is the germination of said seed and with what TKE3 has shown us so far of his catalougue I'm sure the Kingdom, and especially the music lovers in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ are in for an abundance of blessing through the music yet to come.
Top Tip: Play the project on loop and allow BREAKTHRU to play into LAW1, the transition is so smooth and you will forget that you've gotten back to the top of the tape.
